try an Expressive Arts Activity..

Your space could have some drawing materials and pieces of paper. Not much more is needed but always feel free to add what you love.

 

  1. Grab a handful of any doodling materials like your pens and highlighters on your desk, or a box of pencil crayons or even some pastels. 
  2. Find a piece of paper like newsprint, a flyer or a paper bag will work and make some marks..maybe start scribbling. Go ahead and doodle up a storm, fill that page!
  3. Now sit with your page. Do you see something in it you are drawn to like a heart or an animal perhaps or a cool shape? Is there something you are curious about like why you used so much yellow today?  Are your strokes dark or light? How interesting…right? Now, you may even wish to cut the page up into different shapes and glue them onto a fresh page. Now what do you notice?
